I thought about Broadbent, but figured we are so injury prone back there, and omniomniom is young that maybe we'd keep him.

There’s a good little write up on Wellens’ career as player and manager. He himself was transferred in a way to avoid paying compo to another club. Bit of a naughty boy when at Man Utd - drink driving - did his cruciate a la Conroy, too.

Lincoln do this every year for every manager in their league, its pretty decent normally.

Woolery does not have a contract with us. He is currently not our player. Why would we re-sign him if we don't want him?

No he doesn’t. However, as he was offered one that money would have been included in the budget spend until such time as he or we decided otherwise. As of this posting he is still part of the plan and budget, tomorrow may be a different matter.

Yes I am sure Wellens/Power/Jewell put aside the wage we offered him as included in the "used" budget in case he did sign. Which would free up that wage for any new prospective signing if he does not agree.

There will be a couple out of the door but there should also be a cash injection from the Bogle sale to Sheff Utd.

that's an assumption

power aside, we've just been through a massive financial void, still are.

that money could provide funds, but also may be needed for other debts. ones that we'd deferred to later in hope!

obviously it could be used on players too. that would be great

He just doesn’t seem to have been given much game time over pre-season. Unless I’ve missed something and he’s been injured? He also looked overweight in the photos I have seen of him.
Caddis has a bit of form for enjoying his summer off shall we say. Did for him at Birmingham as well as his bust up with PDC around pre season fitness levels.

To be fair once he gets some games in he does seem to get fit quickly. Last year when he came in in December he was clever enough to manage his game via positioning etc to not be shown up.

I prefer to just call him Oddie.

Or maybe Mayo.
