If we line up first day of the season with both Luongo and Bostock I'll be dead chuffed. Bostock is a great player will be fantastic to have him back. By Jed's cryptic clues, let this be true...

      Navarro  Luongo
Pritchard              Tijane
             Bostock
             Collins

Can this be our front 6, pretty please.

Having not seen Tijane play (other than in his youtube vids, which leave a little to the imagination), It'd be good to consider a swap with Luke Rooney (if he stays) or even Williams on the left. Willo did a good job playing there for Yeovil before he came to us if memory serves. I think it was as a more attacking winger, but if we get a decent left back (still high on our list of priorities) and Navarro/Luongo are there to screen the back line, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. I'd also like to see him in the line up, simply because if he gets on first game of the season and scores, he'll get the fans off his back and end up with 15/20 by the end of the season. He's capable of it, he just needs to not hit the woodwork ten times in a row first few games of the season. If nothing else, he confuses the fuck out of defences.

Fuck me lads, this could be an alright season. Plus, with the average age of the squad being feotal, we might have a chance of proving Alan Hansen wrong, which is always a bonus. Raring for it to start now. Somehow it's all turned positive again! (cue Reg...)

We bought a bloke called Alex Smith who is a left back.

I'd say it's a bit early to make any sort of estimation of where we'll be this coming season, atm we've little idea what the final squad might look like.....KMac, has hinted there's still a lot of ins and outs to come...the ins dependent on the outs. He'd like to be able to see something a bit settled in a fortnight, but accepts movement might go right to the start of the season.

I know Reg is regarded as a moany old fart but I think he speaks a lot of sense generally. The next 2 weeks are key as to how confident we can be about next season.

I reckon only 3 more maybe 4 will go.The rooneys,Nav and Jay mac possibly. If we get a decent bid for Caddis then maybe him. With them gone we still are left with a very competive squad imo

The strikers is an interesting area, are we convinced all of Benson, Williams, Collins will be in the squad alongside Miles come opening day?

If Nav goes we'll need an experienced midfielder IMO.

How do we know?? I know these youngsters are from Pre clubs, but so was Ricky Shakes.

Even Pre-season wont tell us much, I can remember beating the likes of West Ham and then struggling that season (Colin todd), People were crying out for us to sign Yinka Casell after one Pre Season friendly, and of course how can we forget Dossevi.

I will reserve Judgement to at least end of September.

I agree, we need to get rid of PdC's massive earners (all named there) and get a couple of replacements, the main one there being a replacement for Navarro in defensive midfield position but who wont be injured all the time, maybe Navarro of 3 years ago, somebody like Eustace (but not him as he is off to Derby and then he is often injured too). Oh and get rid of Benson too.

If Ward does stay then thats the defence sorted already, if Bostock does come then one more defensive midfielder alongside the incoming Spurs loans, and then maybe add one more striking option to go alongside Williams and Collins.

without Nav the average age of our midfield would probably be lower than the average age of my socks.

If he goes we need an older head in there. But we need a ball winning old head.
