Was it Flint who allegedly had relations with Danny Wilson's mum?

Aden Flint one of our two best players!? Read back what you have just stated. Put down the crack pipe!
Did i say current best player umm no i never, for the future he is one we must keep. same as for ferry not the best player yet but he could have been. could someone also point out a player that will be better than flint in the future that is currently on our team and can play his position.

If we went into administration in the summer but kept Flint, would it have been worth it?

It's easy to say now, but last season I think we managed to finished top 6 with a very average squad. I can understand people frustrations with losing players, or worrying we are cutting the budget, but in my opinion the only big loss so far is Ferry. Don't get me wrong Devera was a good player, is he irreplaceable? Certainly not. Flint..... 300k +, we all know that's more than he's worth. Simon Ferry is the only player that we will miss next season of the ones that have left so far. I'm not really sure where this is going because I'm hammered, but I think the panicking, not necessarily on here, but in general is over the top. The board have just got a good price for an average player, he can be replaced for less than half what he's been sold for. Lets see what the board can do over the coming months regarding players, we all knew we were over spending and players needed to go, they've left now so let's look forward and hope for some good news...
What a load of waffle.

I presume agent itk is some no mark? Talking about us showing interest in maghoma and lichaj.
I didn't know who these players were, so looked them up. Maghoma, a striker who scored 18 for Burton, who is attracting interest from Middlesborough and Ipswich. Lichaj, a RB/LB from Villa, who is out of contract in the summer and rated a good back up in the Villa squad. I now see why others doubted it.

100%. Yes, limited. In the air, absolutely superb. Positionally, superb. We do not need Beckenbauer, Good luck to him. A very good, underrated, lower league defender. Better than Oakley, who is now first choice, alongside Ward.
Has anyone actually seen Oakley play or in traditional Swindon Supporter style (see N Thompson) is it just being assumed that he isn't as good as the player he is potentially replacing?

Seen this a few times about Ferry, worth bearing in mind that he's 25, not old l admit but equally no longer a young emerging talent. As for Flint as I said before, decent player but needed an organiser next to him, will probably go on to have a decent career but we have to cut our cloth accordingly. And before everyone starts calling me a happy clapper I would rather have a club than an unsustainable bollocks which is what we were rapidly heading towards last ysar.

Can we have a third choice of sustainable bollocks. One where a self made billionaire who is a town fan continually pumps reasonable amounts of money in without fucking us over a la black. That gets my vote.
Self sustainability sounds in danger of being boring. Absolutely necessary and without any other option though I'll agree. I'd just hate to be Crewe or Oldham, stuck without promotion or relegation.
The only thing wrong with the black approach was the timing and manner of his exit. Had he done it now instead of January we would be no worse off
Let the slating commence.

I don't need to tell you that the likelihood of it happening is slim because you're as aware of that as I am. No doubts that the last couple of years have been a hell of an exciting ride, not always for positive reasons, and returning to a model of consolidation and sustainability will be a lot more boring but we did well under Fitton's model, Yeovil and others have proved that it's possible to mount a challenge for promotion on a low budget and frankly I'm pleased the circus has moved on.

Crewe are doing well for themselves. I can't think of a worse team to support than Oldham. You need a 95% sustainable club with owners who are willing to chuck in a little bit year on year - to attract slightly better players and keep them here that little bit longer. IF (and I know it's a big IF) Black had left the club with a short term loan rather than selling Ritchie we'd probably be a Championship club now and the extra revenue generated by that would have paid Black back and then some. Whilst a sustainable club is good and what not you need that little bit extra to gamble, to strike while the iron is hot so to speak...

That's not what Black was doing. The club was unsustainable and he was chucking money at it because between himself, Wray and Di Canio they couldn't control a budget.

I thought that was what you were implying as you went on to mention Black. My mistake.
The likelihood of finding someone willing to cover losses and then a bit more isn't that high though.
