£350,000 is a great price for Flint but I don't understand the slating of him now he's off.

Personally, I've never seen him have a bad game.

Good luck to him

He's a cunt, he'll fit in at Shitty.
Simplistic, I like it.

KMac needs to have the nous to break this cycle, by developing a young cheap side that can survive in Div 3 for a couple of seasons.

Bang on. Imagine it's one of the reasons he was picked as manager.

Really? You must've missed quite a few games then. Good on his day, solid defender, but prone to errors occasionally and his distribution was shocking. We've had a lot better than him. If we had the opportunity I would've kept him, but i'm not overly concerned he's gone.

Flint missed a lot of games up until February and nobody was really that bothered... Were they?

He was just getting in to the swing of things at Town which is always the case.

Not a bad centre back.. I don't want us to sell our players, but you have to accept it as inevitable when supporting a League One club.

350k is a good price as well.

good fee...  time will tell if it is good business when we see how good/bad/threadbare our squad is. Binning off players is one thing, but it's essential we still have strength and depth or we'll struggle.

No bid accepted for Aden Flint from Bristol City as yet, I'm told. Reports may be premature. Fourth offer of £350k has been considered.

BBC Wiltshire seem to be jumping the gun quite a bit recently. I'm more inclined to believe Sam.

Except if you support Bristol City of course.

I'd take £350k for a) someone who could have gone for free if we didn't invoke the option we had on him and b) someone who handed in a transfer request to leave. Good bit of business, but I can't see it being reinvested into the playing squad.

Is anyone else not a teensie bit relieved that they'll no longer have to walk past his horrendous white 4 x 4 parked in the CG on a match day and think 'my ticket money has partly funded that?

Just me then.

I dont give a fuck what our players do with the money they earn,,,,as long as they give 100% is what matters.
Aden Flint always gave his best and for me it is another nail in a coffin.....we are in dire straights.

So in a matter of weeks we have lost our best 2 players that have a future in or just above this level and everyone is fine with this?
