One of the few occasions I can ever remember thinking we've got a bloody good price for one of our players.
I really can't understand the outcry about losing Flint. I never expected him to be staying, as I was sure the contract offer was only to ensure we collected a fee for him. He is a decent player but there are many players in L1 as good as him. No way is this a Greer situation and I'm more sorry to have lost Devera but accept the reality of being a club without a sugar Daddy.

I like the way a departing player is always slagged off as he leaves.
Like Herthab says.....realism,Flint has plenty of it and knows what many dont want to admit to.
That being the club at present is a complete an utter shambles.
To be fair, Flint was a little bit of a cunt when he was here anyway (have we forgotten the 'getting drunk and picking fights you couldn't win' incident/s?), he was just our cunt so it didn't matter. Now he's off to Brizzle, he's their cunt, so therefore he's a mahoosive cunt. Flint was a great player, scored some important goals (that equaliser in the last minute of the Brentford match at their place will long live in my memory), but what we're reportedly getting for him is a good fee. |
