We paid off the remainder of his contract. Lets face it, he was hardly going to be on a massive amount was he.
I remember them saying atiku was on not much more than the first year pros

Is there any restriction on length of time that we can have loans for? I know you can have season-long loans but it is the shorter term ones I am querying. Martin has renewed for another 28 days - can we extend this further at the end? If so, for how long? Could we end up in the position where key players haved maxed out on loan periods at a crucial stage of the season and we have to look elsewhere to replace them?

93 days is the maximum length for an emergency loan. 53.3.10 The Executive shall have discretion to extend the maximum duration of 93 days for an Emergency Loan in extenuating circumstances, such circumstances to be determined in the Executive's absolute discretion. http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/section-6-players_2293633_2125731#52

So Bostock & Risser have left, Benson is looking likely to depart, Cox is also likely to leave and so far we have resigned on loan Hollands and Martins which i am both pleased with. Luke rooney could be put out on loan again so Im just wondering if pdcs wish of bringing in another player may just be granted.

I think it's unlikely. He'd probably use the money to tie up a longer loan (or permanent contract) for Hollands.

I think we're probably hoping others leave before the end of this month which would free up the funds to have both Martin and Hollands for the rest of the season.

Is the money really that tight again after the additional funds were released? Think they said it was £500k which I guess equates to about £300k in wages (if it was an investment and the 60% wage ratio applies). Maybe it's just a case of trying to free up some money for a final push later in the season before the loan window finally closes, or we're trying to sign one or two of them permanently.

We've signed Ward as well.

I understand that a lot of what is going to happen actually depends on whether Birmingham can offload Jack Butland (possibly to Liverpool), they would then be in a position to buy Caddis, which in turn would free up funds for loan extentions and possible purchases.

Hopefully Austin goes somewhere for a small fortune, mind you if he keeps scoring and does not go till the summer then we will use the funds for the Championship campagne.

According to the Brum forum Caddis signed on a year long loan not the 6 months reported on here.
