Surprised it taken this long for a Richie rumour. We've had it the last 2 at least. Really think we should keep him. He's under contract for another 18 months I think. Will still be worth the same come the summer. IF we do get up and he does ok or better in the Championship then you can probably double any value he has at the moment.

I still think he is massively under appreciated by our fanbase. He is our most consistent threat. Balls to loanees. Just give him a contract that will keep him happy, contingent on us going up.

From Alex Cibocchi on Twitter. Could it be...
I'm still a little dissappointed both him and Kennedy went. Thought they were both great left backs (still remember Kennedy's cracking Performance against Wigan), and I have never really rated JayMac tbh. Never as good going forward as the other two. Will happily admit to being wrong due to the different level in L1, but I do think LB is a position we need some cover for. Alan Mac has done really well (fantastic in fact) covering that position, as he usually does when covering ANY position, but I think having Cibo back would give us a bit of breathing room. I can't imagine his wages are going to be overt either. Plus he's a really nice guy...

This would make my life... And also an awful lot of sense, we have no left backs & seemingly no money. A #comebackcibo hashtag is required I think.

We need to sign Cibo now.
Is he League 1 quality? In all honesty he probably isn't but who cares, in this case personality>ability

McEveley hasn't looked entirely fit this year. He showed whilst on loan last year how good he can be, so hopefully once he is back from injury he can play his part. That said, I'd wager Alan Mc has as many assists from left back since Tranmere than McEveley all year.
The Ritchie rumour waa started by a Wolves fan who 'has a mate who knows somone at Swindon', so rest easy tonight.

I think Jay Mac was playing really well until he got injured. He did have a very slow start to the season though.

I took my mate (Noocastle supporter) to the JPT final last year. He asked me "Who's this portly fellow who has replaced your left backs?" and I felt slightly embarassed. He's lost weight, but having seen him run around the pitch pre-match against Portsmouth, to my (very untrained) eye he's a good couple of weeks away from a full recovery after his op I think- was still rolling around a fair bit on his bad knee. And then he's got to get Paolo-levels of fitness back. I know Paolo rates him highly, but I honestly think AlMac has done as well, if not better than him since he's been injured. Not that I hate JayMac of course, but I think having someone else to cover, in the form of Cibo, would just be a sensible idea. And you KNOW Cibo would play his heart out when given game time.

Yeah, £1.4M bid rumour. Plus a rumour of Ritchie to Charlton in exchange for Hollands + Cash This one is certainly not true, I have a good mate who is a Charlton season ticket holder and they are in deep financial poop and have no money whatsoever for signings, the only transfers will be outgoings from them in this window....or loans.
