Would be fantastic for us on the left hand side, but as far as I was aware he was on the verge of signing a new deal according to FGR so this story may be a load of bull

That's an agent in overdrive. If he wants a new deal, why not try to persuade FGR that he's a wanted man and push his wage up, much like Rooney's agent did with Man City before his Utd deal. Not Paolo's style. There's no way that a conference player coulda have the qwaaaaallllllity we needa.

Heard today that he was on £7k a week at Pompey.  They deserve everything they get if true.

Quality in League 1 , Flare player that can change the game. , not much of an impact in the championship and doesn't seem to get much game time , A loan would be a great deal for both clubs, only criticism of him is the fact he disappears in some games , but very talented nonetheless

Not sure if he'd fit in here unless he was good on the left wing cutting inside as thats how Paolo loves it and on the right is Matt Ritchie who is the first name on the team sheet.

If we're being linked with right-wingers then my immediate concern, justified or not, is that we're signing Ritchie's replacement! Hope not because Ritchie is absolutely crucial to our promotion bid.

This is his hattrick from the weekend, took his goals really well seems to have pace and control and not a bad finish, but the standard of the league looks poor.

True, but then Poole Town were no great shakes when Austin was banging them in.

We tried signing him in November, pretty sure Paolo admitted it to Morshead, but this was when De Vita and Roberts both weren't pulling up trees so thats why we were probably after him
