The one time I saw Troy (albeit on TV), I thought he looked a classy player.

Regardless of the fee we paid, if he is as far away from the side as he appears to be now, get him out on loan with a recall clause.

This is true. I assume you are talking about the Brighton match? I thought back then how assured he looked, bringing the ball out of defence and looking to pass to feet.

I've only seen him since in central midfield and he (although completely out of positiion) was a total pudding.

£200k i believe plus there are extras if we get promoted etc

He was player of the season at Exeter so perhaps he'll come good. At this stage 200k looks like money down the drain.

Can't agree with you there.  When i've seen him play for us he's looked out of sorts, with panicky clearances and inaccurate passes. IMO we should ship him out as he's nowhere near the standard of our current defenders!

It may have been the Brighton match and I made the exact same observation. A rock at the back yet very comfortable with the ball at his feet. I can see why he was tried out as a DM and reckon that could still work (I know it didn't work last time)

His passing ability is closer to Jerel Ifil than Beckenbauer. Hoof merchant.

Rumour on Millwall forum. Pretty sure there are no circumstances in which Di Canio would consider selling him since he's our only GK.

TAH is another one that would come good with a run in the side to gain confidence.  I just don't see him getting that opportunity this season.

Eric Bana plays a good Hector in that. Not keen on Brad Pitt's portrayal of Achiles though.

Very happy with the Ward signing, he has been very good despite a shaky start.

Frank Lampard is in discussion with Paolo about becoming player-trainee coach when his contract at Chelski ends.
