I had heard the rumour that we were after Rooney before the Caddis thing about 2 weeks ago.

We all dream of a team of Rooneys...a team of Rooneys...etc etc

I heard this rumour before the season started but completely kept it to myself.

Meh, not fussed about Caddis going - he needs us more than we need him, he'll be a worse player for not playing under Di Canio.

Rooney I know next to nothing about - we'll have to wait and see wont we.

Rooney would soften the Caddis bow for sure, and I do think we could do with another striker, especially if we expect to lose Collins to Ireland with any regularity. Ward is the one that seems unnecessary if you ask me, but if the budget is there then they're all signings that show intent.

Adam Rooney will could well play alongside Collins for club and country

He has got issues with shopping sprees. Wouldn't mind if it was his own money.

He's definitely got to be the new penalty taker. Wink

Well if he is good enough for John Forrest, he is good enough for me.

So how much did Brum pay for him and what's he worth now?

If it's a straight swap be nice to know how much Caddis is being traded for

At only £6k a week he will bring down our average wage by quite a bit.

I'm gutted about Cadds but doesn't matter which side your bread is buttered he's too valuable an asset to have rotting in the reserves. We either get rid or play the bloke IMO.
What reserves?

Agreed. He's had long enough to knuckle down and win his place back.
