Did well at Inverness but hasn’t had too much of a chance at Brum.

Thought of quite highly in SPL terms but that’s always a risky way to assess a player, could be a useful deal if Benson starts missing games here and there as old age catches up with him.

And on the subject of Adam Rooney; seems a good player, but as we constantly seemed to ask last season, do we need another striker?

We currently have only 3 senior strikers plus Storey, So yeah, we probably do.

Let's get John Rooney (Wayne's brother) from Orlando City.

We are like Barcelona so lets sign all the strikers we can.

OK, why do you think that, hasn't exactly cut it in England, well thought of in Scotland!!  Will the step down be beneficial to him though.

i would say 7 in 27 ronnie is fairly decent, imagine some very good players are ahead of him

Nearly 1 in 3 at CH level is not to be sniffed at.

Edit. Me and my maths, closer to 1 in 4.

Looks like half of those appearances for Brum are as sub too.

Would be a half decent signing at this level and certainly softens the blow of losing Mr Caddis.

Ward, Bessone and Rooney ALL boast experience from a higher level and will ALL add some much-needed depth to the squad. Good enough for me.

We don't know the full details of the deals but I am disappointed at losing Caddis, hoping we get Rooney and cash for him - or are these loan deals?

I'm gutted about Cadds but doesn't matter which side your bread is buttered he's too valuable an asset to have rotting in the reserves. We either get rid or play the bloke IMO.

Rooney would soften the Caddis bow for sure, and I do think we could do with another striker, especially if we expect to lose Collins to Ireland with any regularity. Ward is the one that seems unnecessary if you ask me, but if the budget is there then they're all signings that show intent.
