Can't see Caddis getting into the side ahead of Rafael, but Rooney will be superb at League 1 level.

Quote
That is random. Not sure losing a striker is wise though unless another is lined up

Quote
I don't mind Rooney. Does a job. No issues with having him as 1 of our 4 strikers. Works hard and scores enough goals relative to minutes on the pitch to justify a squad place

Quote
I'd rather Asante over him. Rooney has absolutely nothing going for him as a striker, at least Asante is quick

Quote
Rooney can finish well. Most of his goals have been good ones. Asante is dreadful.

If Caddis really wanted to stay and knuckled down, I have no doubt that Paolo would have gave him another chance.

Ah Mr King I am guessing.

I heard it from someone who works at the club.

Darren Ward was excellent for Millwall in 09/10, superb against us and I believe Millwall had the best defensive record in the league that season. Impressive signing for this level, won't find many better centre halfs in League 1 and if fully fit will be our best defender.

The talk of Leroy Lita on a previous page, only Swindon fans wouldn't welcome a signing of that quality. Won't happen but would be ridiculously good.

Wouldnt suprise me if there was another doing their medical too... So that we can announce three signings in one fell swoop again... Like we did with Roberts, Collins & Williams.

Reading Ward's blog, he is a bit of a fitness fanatic, which should sit well with PDC: http://darrenwardsblog.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1

If Caddis really wanted to stay and knuckled down, I have no doubt that Paolo would have gave him another chance.

What makes you say that?  Paolo doesn't seem to be into giving second chances to anyone once they've pissed him off.

I still had hopes of the Caddis situation being resolved and am quite surprised as to why so many supporters aren't bothered.  Personally I think him going could turn out to have more of an impact than some seem to think it will.  It doesn't appear that any of the players we're supposedly bringing in are a direct replacement.  Do people genuinely think Devera and Thompson are adequate cover?  I'm not so sure at this early stage, but hope I'll be proved wrong.
