For me Flint isn't League 1 standard. That is my opinion.

A nigh on flawless league two season...his first full season of league football, doesn't do it for you then?

Somebody tweeted that BBC wilts said Bostock should sign this week.

I'd given up on us signing him.

Did they mention loan or perm?

I caught the end of it. They just said PDC hasn't given up on signing him, but the change in manager hasn't helped.

I hate to say it, but that might hint at losing our mascot, talisman and cult hero, Ferry. Perhaps he's one of the 2 and we won't let him go until we have a replacement sorted?

Obviously it'll be for a healthy fee and would not be happening, like nearly happened last season, because the manager doesn't rate him - as we now know his opinion to be quite the opposite.

I thought PDC had Bostock down as more of a second striker. Don't think he'll be challenging Ferry's position

Ditto. Couldnt see Bostock playing out and out CM if we signed him.. Esepcially as Paolo said he was going to change things this year. Which will probably mean a change of formation, from 4-4-2 to a 4-2-3-1 like we played against Port Vale. If Ferry were to go however, I think I would cry...

I would be surprised if we got a similar fee for Ferry to what we paid for him, his lack of attacking threat will prevent him playing higher than League 1.

I think he is safe as he is a good footballer and different to our other options, but I wouldn't lose any sleep if Bostock was a direct replacement.

Don't see Bostock coming in making any difference with Ferry as they play different positions / roles.

PDC wants a bigger squad of decent players to give more options with formations and tactics.

With the amount of midfielders we have, maybe we will play a Spanish formation

I agree with this. Though I do rate him highly as far as a creative midfielder, his size and stature is a problem.  I see him being overun in the Championship.

Miller > Ferry

I don't agree with this though.

Someone who played over 30 games for a side who got promoted from League 1? He definitely has the experience.

We all know that if a player doesn't perform they will be dropped.
