So this rumour sparked from an Aldershot player saying he is leaving and a Swindon fan instantly thinking that must mean he is signing for us.

But you seemed so keen.

Yes, i would have him in a shot, but if he doesn't want to play for the circus for a minimum of £10k a week, then he is a City reject, furthermore, he can get fucked.

Perfection is not attainable

Probably rubbish but someone on Twitter has said that we might be in for Aldershot centre-half Darren Jones - he's just said a goodbye to Aldershot on Twitter - @dljones83

got no memory of him against us but the shots were a decent outfit when they beat us in April.
Supposedly off to Shrewbury.

I hear that Nahki Wells the Bradford striker that Paolo raved about in the last game of the season has turned down a contract extension with them and Crawley, Rotherham and Sheffield Utd are poised to make bids for him, he sounded like he tore us apart up there and with Paolo a known fan of his....may be worth a bid, bidding to start at £200k apparently.

Agent Darren just tweeted this:

'I'm told ex #stfc player Callum Kennedy Has had interest from #ytfc #Crewe But Likely to sign at Scunthorpe United F.C'

Fair play to Kennedy if thats true, never understood why he got let go tbh, better than Cibocchi imo

Kennedy is average at best. No loss.

After September, Kennedy rarely featured (7 or 8 starts).

There's not a dramatic difference between Kennedy's ability and Cibo's. Cibocchi is contracted therefore it's goodbye Callum Kennedy. Makes sense to me.

I'm glad that Football League clubs are taking an interest though.

Sure he is supposed to be rated but if he tore us apart I failed to see it! If memory serves he actually got replaced in the 2nd half.

Both Kennedy and Cibo are not good enough if I'm honest.  Kennedy good going forward but weak defensively.  Cibo slightly better defensively but struggles for fitness/pace.

Both would not get a look in against if we sign Meceverly.

I thought Kennedy would have been good enough as cover for McEveley. He got Man of the Match against Wigan if memory serves.

Prefer Cibo (not just because he's god) think he's a more solid player. The few times Kennedy featured in later season displayed how weak he was when he played, often out of position and skinned too easily. Cibo was always more assertive, and despite the 'he's foreign so he's shit' attitude of many of our fans was always more solid IMO without being worse going forward. For example that diagonal ball Cibo likes to play into Benson's chest was more effective than the lump down the line we'd often see from Kennedy.

I quite like Cibo, he made a few mistakes early on, took a while to settle into the team. I also like his diagonal balls into benno, he's certainly not the worst player we've ever had.

I'm really interested to see who we sign this summer, he's talked about needing the right budget so I guess he will have money to spend on transfer fees.
