Preston's bull in a china shop approach to the transfer market could go either way, hopefully (as we're in their division) it will be akin to Bristol Rovers' approach last summer.
Also, Graham Westley seems bonkers.
Ive not paid attention. Who's he bought? Everyone?

Will probably be out on loan to a FL club next season, so I see no reason why they wouldnt send him back here. Was the best player on the pitch in the under 18's game at the CG earlier in the season too.
He's turned 18 a few months ago, so he really needs to be playing league games, and I very much doubt he's going to get a look in at City.

Torres on loan is still an option.

Wonder if Man City will be willing to let Henshall come back to us on loan?
He would be an asset in L1 with his pace.
It wouldn't do him any harm for him to come here on loan, look at other prem players who've been here Milner and Carrick are good examples

I see Henshall is on the GB Olympic team shortlist. http://mcfc.co.uk/News/Academy-news/2012/January/Alex-Henshall-on-Olympic-listAlex Henshall has been placed on Olympic alert by former Blues boss Stuart Pearce, who is in charge of Great Britain's bid for football gold at London 2012.
Academy prospect Henshall is one of the young players to receive a letter from Pearce asking him to confirm his availability for the squad, expected to be skippered by David Beckham.
It caps a memorable week for the 17-year-old City winger, who inspired the Blues' 4-1 FA Youth Cup victory over his old team-mates at Swindon Town on Tuesday night.
While there is a long way to go before Team GB kick off their campaign at Old Trafford on 26 July, his form has clearly made an impression on the England Under-21 coach.
Pearce will only be able to call on three players aged over 23, with LA Galaxy's Beckham earmarked as captain and both Ryan Giggs and Joe Cole also known to be keen to compete.
Henshall, who joined City from Swindon in June 2010, has played regularly for England Under-16s and Under-17s and is regarded as one of the best young homegrown prospects.
Pearce, who will be limited to an 18-man squad when he makes his final selection this Spring, is thought to have sounded out up to 200 players as to their availability.
Team GB will follow their Manchester opener with matches at Wembley on 29 July and Cardiff's Millenium Stadium on 1 August. The final is at Wembley on 11 August.

I wonder how much we could have got for Henshall if we kept him for another year? Looking at the price Powell has been banded about at maybe we could have got a few more pennies.

If he had stayed here he would probably be a first teamer by now surely?
