I may have missed this, but come on own up, which one of you put this on that site?
CHRIS WILDER - rumoured to be leaving and heading back to the conference to manage a more ambitious club. Paolo Di Canio to leave Swindon and joins the U's, bringing half the squad with him.
Funnier is the fact that 3 people have gone apoplectic about it, taking it as serious!

That's what having bigger crowds & higher ticket prices do for you though.
More income = more budget to spend on players
Yeah I don't have a problem with it.

They have signed Nardiello and Odejayi which is a decent strike force at that level. The same Nardiello who's had an uneventuful couple of seasons at Exeter? Odejayi is decent enough though.

Shrewsbury fans on another forum seem to think James Collins to us looks increasingly likely. Would be very happy with that.

Really? I'd be over the moon with that, but I thought he was being linked with several Championship clubs?

Remember Preston, Coventry and Watford were linked. If it were to happen it would be magnificent! Sam Morshead says Andy Williams was a target in January however it would seem a bid hasnt been placed as of yet. Whereas Bournemouth are reporting they approached him but were turned away as his deal to Swindon is a done deal. Interesting

Post I just found from this Shrewsbury thread: My brother works in the accounts department at Swindon Town and Collins is there today with his agent. I can't believe he would sign and work under Di Canio surely this would be a sideways move not being guarranteed a starting place each game the way he chops and changes his team. Williams from Yeovil was also seen this week at the ground which is a shame as that is one I was thinking perhaps we might sign.

I somehow don't believe that. Would love it to be true, be a brilliant signing.
