They have signed Nardiello and Odejayi which is a decent strike force at that level. Looks like they are going to spend some cash and I expect them to be top 6 at least. Poor old progressing slowly each year Oxford United are being left behind, shame!!  |

Just goes to show, though, at League 2 level throwing some cash at it will generally work.
Otherwise clubs will just be hoping some magical combination of free signings and other people's cast-offs will come good (al a Oxford).

To be fair we probably did spend the most money out of the teams in the league.
That's what having bigger crowds & higher ticket prices do for you though. More income = more budget to spend on players |

Exactly, we averaged 8.5k attendances last season. So we were well ahead of the rest of league 2 budget wise, even before any money the backers put in is taken into account. |
