That's a pittance.  It's approx half the average wage at Oxford.  (But then they are in debt to the tune of £33,222,111.  Allegedly.)
actually, I think you'll find it is £31,415,926.05

Preston have signed Wroe and some fella with a double barreled name from Shrews. If we get Collins they could struggle next season.

If PNE get Collins then you'd image that Shrews fans will begin to have a nervous twitch every time Preston North End is mentioned.

Cansdell-Sheriff I believe, Preston are having one hell of a re-build, released something like 14 players.

Westley's likely to sign the better players from Stevenage now that his "can't touch them until the season is over" agreement has expired.

Completely un-related but I see that Leicester have signed Jamie Vardy from Fleetwood for £1 Million, that's one hell of a lot of money for a player who has never played league football.

Fair play to Fleetwood for getting it out of them.

Good luck Vardy, no pressure.

Sure is. Remember when Stuart Fleetwood (coincidence?) was banging all the goals in for Forest Green, fucking mountains of them, couldn't hack it in the League - never mind a team looking to get out of the Championship

I remember when there were rumours about all those clubs after him in Jan. It's shocking that a club could pay a million quid for an unknown. He must be absolutely mind blowing.

On a slightly related note I see Tubbs has excelled so far at league 1. As I said at the time, overrated and we should be glad he didn't join us.

I know, he's not even that young, he's 25.

Fleetwood must be laughing.

I think their reaction must be similar to Instagram's reaction when Mark Zuckerburg bought them for $1b.

(I don't think it's real, but this would've been the likely reaction.)

Must be as I doubt he'd get game time at that many Prem clubs, maybe a Stoke or a Everton?
