What sort of a player is he? Presumably a more creative midfielder to back up/compete with Ferry? Ferry and Caddis the only outfield players who we don't have adequate cover for imho so could be useful if there's any legs to it.

Dont think Rooney is the man to replace Ferry, from the 30mins or whatever we have seen so far, Rooney doesnt exactly look like a 'break up play and play it simple' man... |
