When I was younger my Mum used to make us these things called, Cheese Dreams. They were cheese sandwiches soaked in egg and then fried. I remember them fondly.

Those sound good!  The Mrs is away all week so I'm on a beer and crap food diet so will give that a try tomorrow and report back.
