I know its the new Swindon style employing attacking wingback/wingers but I would prefer a fullback who can fill in as wingback rather than a wingback who can fill in at fullback, ala Rob Hunt (for instance, no I am not advocating re signing him before I am jumped upon).
We need wingbacks who can defend not just attack.

I agree, but many don't. Take Rob Hunt as an example, he was heavily criticised for not being attacking enough |

But there's every chance we end up with worse than average.
So sometimes it's better the average you know.

(also worth pointing out Linsey was defensive coach last year  ) But I'll maintain I've seen many worse right backs than Hunt in division 4. He was a better defender than egbo and iandolo too. Will also agree he would've been pointless in a back 5 unless he's one of the 3 CB. I'm not upset we let him go. |
