He hates the Vale. That’s good enough for me!

Looks like a real good acquisition. Pleased with that signing.

Probably the first name linked that on paper seems a bit meh…

Obviously hype/reputation doesn’t always correlate to how they do here

With the general young age of those so far, it’s difficult to know if they are perceived as first XI starters or as development players akin to Aguiar and Dabre.

Don’t think we will fully know till August maybe even September.

Currently they’d be first 11 just based purely on the positions they play. We are currently signing players who fit the holes in the squad.

Like i would be amazed if Massey was ready for a full season of L2 football (and at aged 18) but he’s our only striker currently

how about no.

not for me. Reed was so important to everything we did, we need hard cash to pay (the wages) for a replacement. imo.

Twine to Burnley. £4m

like Austin I think it's a good step up for Twine without being overwhelming.

Burnley have obviously reached the next level mind.

plus 4M should net us 750k. Though I don't know how it works with add ons if that is how the deal is structured

Maybe some of the £800,000 Twine sell on money could be spent on retaining the likes of Payne and Reed.

Keeping Lyden fit - I know, I know - could see him in the Reed role.

Twine to Burnley. £4m

I thought Franchise rejected their first bid which was £4m? Perhaps they improved their add-ons, % of future sale or something. Still £700k or whatever it is is not to be sniffed at. That's basically a million quid we've got for Twine over the 2 transfers then.

JoJo was a bloody good keeper. Surely no one can disagree with that. I'm all for putting on a brave face but, come on he'll be a big loss.Well,in my opinion.

Agree with the first bit, albeit he did seem to specialise in the hospital pass engagement with his defenders (may be better at that level with more skilled defenders) which may be made even worse at a higher level.

The funny thing is he is going to miss a chunk of the season with the WC which is always going to be a risk with any team getting him in as no.1...

Charltonfans are bemused as to why they needed another keeper at all. They already have 2 decent ones according to them.
