Very happy with this. Good age and should be approaching his peak as a pro. Not being able to manage the scarf lift on his own is a slight concern though.

………..……Woolacott Hunt…Baudry…Conroy…Iandolo. ……………..Lyden ………..Payne…Gladwin …………….Parsons
Is that all of our current contracted players? It’s a start.

So I think we now all know who the player signed on Friday was.. glad its been announced. Like Gladwin, good player but agree with some of the comments, he could be a bit lazy previously but more than made up for with his forward play and important goals.. great signing..:-) In terms of embargo i think this shows ultimately we have unlocked it as i cant believe we are paying him only £1200 a week.. i might be wrong especially only on a 1 year deal. As anticipated all staff will be paid this week inc the money they are owned from last month (40%)

Has there been any word on Lydens injury he picked up at the weekend?

Almost feels like we’ve returned to being a professionally run club.
Bloody long time waiting, though.

That midfield in 14/15 of Kasim, Luongo, Gladwin and Louis Thompson was arguably the best in L1 at the time when they were all firing on all cylinders...

Defiantly enough quality there to compete in league 2 and stay well clear of a relegation scrap. Only concern is the amount of injury prone players.

Good news. Didn't actually realise our first league game is 11 days away. Interested to see how many we bring in during that time...do we recruit heavily now or play the long game and sacrifice a few early results in hopes of clinching a better quality of player towards the end of the window.

No arguing about it. The best midfield we have had in 20 years i reckon, and i include some of the championship midfields we had.

Jonathan Swift too, come the tail end of the season. Only Kasim didn't get a big move/step up.

Always liked Gladwin, seemed to be one paced but still had the ability to get into good positions. If fit, a very good signing.
