Excellent news re. Yates...and I’m glad there has been a compromise with the Ginger Pele - a 6 month deal with him earning considerably less than he did at Bradford then a payday for him elsewhere in the summer. It seems to have got very toxic for him at Bradford so this is the best outcome for all involved.

I think when measured next to the value of getting promoted, at c£1.5m - £2m. Even £150k for Doyle would be an absolute cracking piece of business. It is a gamble but an informed gamble. I'd say 1/20 odds kind of gamble. I do agree though, it does seem a little "un-Swindon" ish. The above though shows sense (yes coming from me  ) Ess Tee Eff Cee As an aside, have our odds slipped while GP & Yates have been away? And now they’re back what do they look like now? |
