Cox due for medical in half an hour....surely the fact he played for us for ages is enough?

I see the Northampton manager is saying things become frustrating when agents become involved when talking about the deal he is trying to do, so that suggests maybe that Cox's agent is playing with both clubs and trying to get the best deal for Cox...let's hoep he does favour us over Northampton.

I will be bitterly dissapointed if he goes to the cobblers though over us

I'm bitter that redddin get a sell on clause. I know it's the done thing and makes business sense, but clauses always annoy me on FM, so they therefore do in the real world.

Just spoke to a friend who has involvement with the club and he assures me Simon Cox has agreed to join us over Northampton, personal terms have been agreed and will definately sign for us tomorrow  Beers  Beers  Beers  Beers  Beers

I don't know I'm Mints sources, but I have been holding onto this thoughout the day.

I be delighted if he signs, but at the same time I do hope that we aren't agreeing to stupid demands.

The medical is just for insurance purposes.

As you say, he's been here 3 months...so hopefully there should be no problems.

He wouldn't bother with a medical unless he's agreed personal terms Shirley?
