He wouldn't bother with a medical unless he's agreed personal terms Shirley?

He also had a medical at Northampton.

Is that actually true or is that just what some knob jockey on a cobblers forum said?

some interesting comments on the Cobblers forum about Cox....

Quote

Maybe either he or his agent is using what we have offered him (assuming we've offered anything at all) to try to up the ante at his supposed favoured destination.

If he comes to us, I'll take the view that you can't blame him for trying to maximise his earning potential; however, if he goes to Swindon, then I'll denounce him as a greedy bastard.

Their fans seem a lot more confident than us lot.

Thats becuase they love him more than we do and subsequently find it harder to contemplate not signing him.  The reality is it now doesn't look like he is joining Swindon judging by todays comments from Malpas.

As an agent, holding out for more and more money, he could be doing a disservice to his client who as a result will probably spend the rest of the season playing out on the wing for Reading reserves.... if he's lucky.

and will be slightly disappointed IF Swindon beat us to it.  Sounds as though his agent is a bit of an a*se though.

Lets face it he never really wanted to come here

Some comments seem to bear a striking resemblance to ours.

Right, I'm off home and I want this sorted by the time I get there.

They've got twenty minutes.
