Yep - well said Fred. SSW had the 75% that was sold to Fitton ... we don't know where the other 25% is. Mikey the Greek might still have a minor interest. Well according to Companies house (and notwithstanding any legal action by BP & PE) Snotty Son had 66.5 % and Smelly fat cunt had 33.5% Tim old but dim was never a shareholder in the holding co Now, it all depends on how that has been segregated and trimmed to get to Fittons 75% Sorry, but this has got a few more twists and turns yet. Anyway Lets just enjoy this Xmas shall we ? When the deal fell through the first time, Fitton said something like "normally you wouldn't buy the club, you would buy the assets" but because the deal was so complicated, they were having to buy the club itself. I *think* I'm right in saying that they have bought the shares in the club itself, and not the holding company - the old holding company must own the 75% of shares in the club that have been sold. If this is right, then the other 25% are probably minor shareholders. Wills and Diamandis' shares are in the holding company - this must have been how they got around the problem of the club claiming that Bill Power owns shares - the argument is whether or not Power owns shares in the holding company, not the club.

You're absolutely spot on - Wills/Diamandis have sold up lock stock and barrel. This deal is done. We're safe. On the piss Saturday.

I hope it works out. I miss the days where general discussion ruled. The boardroom section has been taking over a bit recently. I hope it goes back to normal.
And a message to all you cunts who sit around just stirring shit on the boardroom section, never posting in the non-footy bit, and never really saying anything useful - You can all fuck off and not come back. Seriously, you'd all be banned by now if it was up to me (I do have the power, you're lucky I've been sobering up over the last few weeks). You'd at least be banned from the football side of things, but we were all a bit lazy and it involved reconfiguring settings and we couldn't be arsed.
If this goes through then I expect all you cunts to either fuck off or give yourselves some personality. You've well over done you whatever% football quotient.
You know who you are. Sorry Ben

ITV said the conditional on the sale surrounded the development rights, which is obviously where St Modwen come into it.

I'd just like to congratulate everyone who was any way responsible for getting rid of the corrupt cunts. I know it's not quite over till Jan 11th, but this rant can't wait that fucking long. To all TEFfer's: For all those arguments on the forums over countless months with Maverick winding everyone up. For the fledgling protests supported by only 20 or 30 fans, with Bob Holt taking the piss from behind the safety of the exec lounge widows. For all the fucking trust leaflets thrust into my hand on a matchday, whether I wanted one or not. For all the debates and arguments about the cunting friday statements from the resident greek piss head. For the fantastic big yellow blimp and youtube expose. For the brilliant and systematic ridicule and ousting of the joke that is and was Mr. Whippy. For the fuck-load of Orange hats and tee shirts. For the coffin and the dodgy greek bloke pound notes. For the 900+ protesters last week in the fucking cold and damp and for the alleged acts of, erm, 'protests' that may have been slightly on the moody side of the law, I fucking thank you all I'll no doubt get banned for updating my avatar with an apt, if slightly controversial image, but I don't give a fuck. (apologies in advance to the mods, I completely understand the need for your actions guys - I just hope you don't notice it too soon:-) To the cunts that have made our lives a fucking misery for so long, I give you an abridged version of Bjorge Lillelien's famous outburst on Norwegian TV when Norway beat England 2-1 in Oslo in a World Cup qualifier in Sept 1981. From 20 or 30 STFC busybodies: Bob Holt............Mike Bowden...........Seton Wills.......... Andrew Andronikou...........James Wills.............. Willie Carson......... Martin Starnes... Mike Diamandis........ Can you hear me Mike Diamandis? ?? Your boys took one hell of a beating,,,,,,,, Your boys took one hell of a beating!

ITV said the conditional on the sale surrounded the development rights, which is obviously where St Modwen come into it. There are conditions relating to St Modwen and the Revenue. We're not expecting these to cause serious issues. The problematic bit has always been getting rid of those who thought they had a right to keep sticking their snouts in the trough. That's been done today. Look, I know we're Town fans and as such wholly unused to just plain good news and I certainly don't blame anyone for looking for the hidden bad news we're missing, but for once I think we're genuinely looking at just plain good news here. Go out and enjoy it. Obviously as we are Swindon Town doubtless there'll be some ridiculous mishap (League deduct us 500 points for "offences in the sight of the Lord", CG gets eaten by rampaging Godzilla-style freak dinosaur etc) but this is that very rare thing for Town fans: genuine pukka good news. For the first time in I don't know how long, I'm going to be able to go and watch a game of football on Saturday and worry about nothing more significant than the appalling offside decisions and the state of Corr's back. Halle-fucking-lujah.

Shit, you mean no more politics we can just concentrate on football. That means I have no excuse at work not to work, erm, Fitton out! Seriously, I won't rest easy until the conditions have been met, but by god it feels good at the moment.
