A CONDITIONAL agreement has finally been signed by Andrew Fitton's consortium as their protracted Town takeover saga comes to an end.
After months of wrangling the duo now have 75 percent control at the County Ground and will immediately set to work on addressing the day-to-day issues.
The buyers are expected to clear all immediate debts as soon as possible, with the Inland Revenue close to losing patience, and will start the hunt for a new manager.
advertisementProperty developer St Modwen's still need to approve the deal at a board meeting before the conditional deal becomes a permanent contract, but neither party expect any problems.

So 11th Jan is new deadline?? According to official website.
Now does MD have anything to do with St Modwin, or is this really the begining of the end. 11th of Jan, right after the FA Cup 4th round has been drawn...
