if it's the latter then he's under contract - soi we can either get a fee (unlikely) or more likely throw in a nice hefty sell-on so that we get a cut of any future fee.
He's got talent, but just not in the right mould - I've agreed with all the released players so far.
He's been automatically offered a 1yr extension because he played x amount of games. He has to accept this extension offer to be contracted to us. Sturrock has advised him not to.
