I dread to imagine the consultancy and designing fee we've paid Dunwoody for designing these. Is this Diamandis's clever way of stealing the Lukas transfer fee.......or am I just a cynic?

i suppose they have cut down on the clours to keep it cheap for printing, but I think this casues some problems - firstly i'm not sure how well the predominately red and white design will show up on a predominately red and white shirt, and I like the gold sash across 3, but who will be able to read white lettering on a gold background (surely that would be more visible in black ?).   Plus the leaves at the bottom (trees at Shaw tip perhaps ?!) seem a bit pointless, and as a pedant I like a nice green GWR train..

I don't like the idea of the league name in the older ones though - the implication of the downward pointing triangle seems a bit like a self fullfilling prophecy to me !

For me, I'd like to see the 1990 one, with 1879 in the top left and a robin perched on the top.

If I get an afternoon of free gimp usage I might try and make one to make the bopard proud..

This is sort of thing I envisaged earlier....maybe a big bag marked swag, in the tender....and a sign post for Newbury?

A Thomas the Tank Engine style Diamond Mike would be good.

He could be driving, and in the style of early rail transport the rest of 'em could be stood in the next carriage.  The elephant is perhaps an African interpretation of the cash cow, the kind os vision only a rasta jew can have.

perhaps a change of motto:  I didn't benefit from a classical education, but I think  "financialum irregularium" crosses borders of language

or something directed towards the greek audience  "eiste skata ke toc xerete" for example

Why do we need to change at this moment in time?  Who will gain out of this?  Think about it lads, suppliers of print etc. are the ones who will benefit the most.  Does the word Newbury spring to mind?  Let's just leave it to Bill Power, Phil Emmell and the fans rep to make a decision!

Exactly. Why now? They are just trying to appease fans who are still pissed off at them. Its a token gesture to try & get fans back on their sides, making it look as if they care about what we want.

What we want is for you to go! NOW!

Personally I don't like any of them - why do we need a new badge ?

I'm not fussed about the diamnod one either, most clubs keep one badge as it is part and parcel of the club but is we have to change every 10-15 years

If we have to change the badge then I think the railway one is better.

Does this mean they are renaming the 125 anniversary dinner a 127 anniversary dinner...talk about scoring own goals  Cheesy

How much to change all paperwork, signs etc around the club with the logo on...what a waste of money..can you pay the CVA ?

Number 3 - Every (old-style) badge has had the train on the top - why remove it, it's part of the Town's history.

At least the green has gone, but cue the red and gold kits  :?

Agree with the heritage making a comeback

Why not just re-use the old one ?
