Just to help out Spud, maybe we could organise a pre season friendly against Boro, we could ask Zaboub to constantly play hospital balls in towards Downing (and pook's) direction and hey presto Spud, you're dream has come true.  But two birds one stone!!

Maybe Aaoron Brown could get involved too...

That always makes me smile when a team's supporter, whether it's an international side or a premier league side, celebrating like mad when they go one up against a vastly inferior side.

It was bizarre - I have a friend who's a "Part-Time" football fan... One those who support Manchester United and their local club and no nothing about either (he asks me what the fixtures are for HIS teams)

His housemate is this "mega" big Man Utd fan who was screaming at the screen for the ref to send one Andorran player off - he didn't realise that he cheered a Man City flag (and vocally retracted his statement afterwards) - He practically took his shirt off when Gerrard scored and eventually some guy told him to shut the fuck up and got a applause.

Knob.

What happened DB?

Apparently planes can't land in the fog, these days... and for this reason i had no plane to get on :?

DB - That is utter utter bollocks - and thats not directed at you!.

If that is the excuse you were given, write a strongly written letter to RyanAir asking them whether they have a civilian certified GPS in their aircraft (which acts independent of any weather, including fog). If they say no, report them to the CAA who will promptly ground them, as all passenger aircraft must have one fitted by law.

Hope you didn't lose out financially.

why is it that it's only ever england players or coaches that say "there are no easy games in international football anymore"?

To be fair Lebowski I even heard one of the Andorra players say they thought they had an easy international game tonight.

Turns out they were wrong though!

My plane diverted to Luton, so we were stuck without one (could have bussed us there, the bastards!). I've got an unexpected 2 days off work now, which i'll use to get as much cash back as possible...

Whits - i'm not going on Saturday, is there another home game before Bury away?

First time in a while i actually watched an England game, and yeah it was crap as i expected BUT the England fans out there, wtf????Talk about not supporting the team, the amount of vitriol aimmed torwards MacClaren was embarrassing and uncalled for,no one seemed pissed off with the players. They are just sheep being led along by the press to hate the manager, not the people who are to blame, the fucking FA for sadling us with a coach who doesn't have the ability to manage a national team.I feel sorry for the bloke,he's been hung out to dry by the FA and the press :x
In fact i feel so sorry for him i want to stroke the bald patch on top of his head Wink

How good are Northern Ireland at the moment ,superb Cheesy

Personally I think the team got what it deserved from the fans after that first half. I took the boos as being aimed towards the team as a whole though there were a lot of anti-MacLaren chants. The buck always stops with MacLaren, he was an unpopular (and wrong) choice when appointed and so it is hardly suprising that he gets jumped on when things go wrong.

There is hope for MacLaren, Bobby Robson went through some less than happy times after the Euros and before Italia '90. Can't see history repeating itself mind.

As for the game I  think it was the telegraph who summarised best. something like "after 53 minutes we were drawing 0-0 against a Ski resort, and not a very nice ski resort at that".
