Lee Mack was very good - Luckily we managed to avoid getting picked on- Mind you I have a feeling the people on the front row he picked on maybe were set up??

he was a bit more sweary than when I saw him last time but still very funny! mind you the encore bit he did where he allowed people to ask questions made me feel embarrassed to be from round here - some of the morons needed shooting!!

they were excellent at the warwick arts centre last week, far better live than on record. very intimate atmosphere yet fun at the same time, a perfect gig for me Smiley

morrissey this weekend then seasick steve in november at the warwick arts centre again. weller is playing there in december, undecided on that one.

Got free tickets for Maximo Park tonight which has swayed my decision whether to go or not.

Yes indeed, as does the significant other.  They were particularly popular in Italy a few years ago when we were living there, can't remember what the album was called but it was really laid-back and summery.  Haven't heard their latest stuff, I assume it's still good?

Didn't go in the end, Nic wasn't feeling up to it and neither was I really so we gave it a miss.
