I'm going to Blur's warm up gig - my missus' workmate won 10 tickets so we've got in on it (free gig so why not!?!)
Why they're doing their warm up gig in Newcastle is anybody's guess.

Just a quick question, has anyone ever bought tickets from Double8Tickets.com. They seem to be approved by Google, but y'never can tell. Are they reliable/trustworthy? The tickets i'm after are sold out on sites such as ticketmaster etc

They're a tout company. Your choice really, but I wouldn't use them.

I really need to get round to listening to Brakes properly. They keep getting recommended to me but somehow I've accidentally avoided listening to them. I shall get downloading later and make a subsequent purchase(s) if I like.
I'm pretty poor on effort when it comes to listening to new(er) bands and I don't listen to radio either.

Have you ever considered a career in music journalism? I've heard they're going to quote your post on the dvd.

That would make me so angry if I'd paid loads of money to see one of the first shows in July then it got changed to March next year!!!!
