Still an excellent live band. Would always still recommend to anyone if they get the chance.
Would love to get to the Barrowlands one day, an iconic venue.

I saw them twice in a month in 2016 (a kind of happy coincidence - saw them in Swansea on the "Everything Must Go" anniversary tour then a week later a mate invited me and the wife to see them at Eden Project).

Got to say they are one of the best live bands I have ever seen.  If you get a chance to see them, take it.  Am hoping to see them in May supporting the Killers - what a line up that is, even if it is at the Shitty's ground!

I've booked to see Foo Fighters at London Stadium (again). And Manchester Orchestra at Union Chapel in January.

RHCP tickets go on sale next week, might try and get to that as who knows if they'll come back to the UK again.

Indeed it is. My favourite gig was Shed Seven there in 1998. Raucous? Not arf!

I'm going in May to see them and the Killers, 3rd time lucky after being postponed this and last year due to Covid. I've seen the Manic's loads, not the same as back in the 90's but then that's the same with all bands. Still excellent live though.

Architects were su-fucking-perb last night. No support, so ended up being a mass karaoke session in the build up, thoroughly good fun.

Watched The Reytons last Tuesday at the Exchange in Bristol, they were brilliant. They had a support act called Corella who were really good, have listened to a lot of them since.

Off to The Snuts at The Globe in Cardiff next Wednesday, looking forward to it.

After being totally gutted about The Doves, have somewhat been cheered up last night by the brilliant  Public Service Broadcasting at the Brizzle O2. Superb gig !

Bruce went down with Covid last week so Swindon is now 2nd December. We had to pull Brum and Stoke at really short notice last week.

If you are if a certain age, From The Jam is a great night out. The Jam were the first live group I saw in 1977 and saw the new incarnation at  the Mecca in 2018. Music sounded just as good and memories flooded back. Seen them three times since then, twice at St George’s in Bristol with the acoustic set which is just as enjoyable.

Without the songwriter/frontman/singer/lead guitar  Smiley bruce foxton was a brilliant bass player and backing singer I'm sure they are really good...
