Sorry to be negative but today was bad and the peaconator played poor again just dived around, is it me thinking he is absolutely shite or are we not playing to his strenths? On the good side though Roberts is hitting form.

we need to stop lumping it forward to him.

Peacock needs to be in the 6 yard box clearing up.

Not 20 yards from goal controlling the ball facing the wrong way.

Defence to midfield, midfield to the wingers. Wingers into the box.

Peacock to finish.

We dont use him right, and you're right today wasnt one of his better games....but thats life....I'm sure he'll be good the next game

Yer you are right, as roberts is best in the 20 yard plus position peacock should be playing on the shoulder of the last defender

thats how roberts plays though, a free roam striker which no one picks up

Roberts likes to drift out wide and get down the channels, makes it even more important that we have a forward who stays in the box.

At the moment we have Peacock who holds it up 20 yards back to goal and Roberts who wants it wide in the channels...

Either one of those with a 'box striker' would be ideal.

But, Roberts is on a scoring run so cant complain.

As I said, I think they are both decent players. They just dont work as a partnership as one doesnt stay in the box. But I also see no reason why Peacock cant be that stay in the box striker.

Stop doing other peoples job and let the midfield be the ball winners and play makers.

Dont think Peacock isnt up to it, just isnt being used correctly.

Thats how he plays though dv he allways wants to be involved in the link up play.i dont think its us not using him properly its more to do with him not doing his job to good effect hence the reason he got subbed.i really wouldnt be suprised to see lucas start upfront next week with roberts

It seems more like defence to strikers, hit the oppo centre backs, try and pick up second ball, midfield tussle, force it out wide, cross, score.

So long as the score bits there, I don't care. First goal was Sturrock all over, and it was nice to watch.
