Its plain the Cock doesn't like Sturrock too much.....expect him out the door in Jan agreed reg.he should be a real pro about it and get on with it and do a job.roberts showed peacock yesterday how to answer someone.last week sturrock said roberts was a little bit lazy yesterday he decides to show him that he is prepared to prove him wrong.

roberts was all over the place too.too deep and too wide. our poor wide players meant that had to really Roberts likes to drift out wide and get down the channels, makes it even more important that we have a forward who stays in the box. At the moment we have Peacock who holds it up 20 yards back to goal and Roberts who wants it wide in the channels... Either one of those with a 'box striker' would be ideal. But, Roberts is on a scoring run so cant complain. spot on fella. but we need our forwards to play upfront!roberts plays in a free role it seems. peacock aint up to it imo As I said, I think they are both decent players. They just dont work as a partnership as one doesnt stay in the box. But I also see no reason why Peacock cant be that stay in the box striker. Stop doing other peoples job and let the midfield be the ball winners and play makers. Dont think Peacock isnt up to it, just isnt being used correctly. Thats how he plays though dv he allways wants to be involved in the link up play.i dont think its us not using him properly its more to do with him not doing his job to good effect hence the reason he got subbed.i really wouldnt be suprised to see lucas start upfront next week with roberts he did it at City, no reason why he cant do it here...

He wasnt. Hes a lazy cunt who plays in flashes. Take his goals (s?) away and he was half arsed.
You've just got a problem with Peacock. Hate Arron Brown instead, it works for me

Peacock isnt going to run past 3 men and score like Roberts can, but then I can count the number of headers Roberts has won in an STFC shirt on one hand. Swings and roundabouts.

Its plain the Cock doesn't like Sturrock too much.....expect him out the door in Jan  That sounds painful Reg!! Jan Leeming I hope!! I agree with your sentiments though think Peacock's days at CG are coming to an end. I have a theory that when the team is disjointed Peacock's your man, winning lost causes, running all over the place. But when I team has a set formula, as Sturrock is trying to create, Peacock becomes less of an influence. Peacock out and bring in a goal poacher, my prediction.

I'm not sure he will go.
This mythical goal poacher is going to need to have some physical presence about him though if it happens as we'll be back to Cureton and Thorpe "midget hoofball" if he hasnt :?

"This mythical goal poacher..."
Are you saying there are no goal poachers in the game anymore??

In some ways yes. There are not any available to the likes of us.
Any that are available have no other redeeming qualities. ie Graziolli was a goal poacher, but had no pace, power, aerial ability or skill.

one bad game and you want rid and his days are numbered.
I bet you were saying the same thing about Roberts when he had his off patch
Peacock is a good player and adds alot to the team, he had a poor game saturday...so what? its only one game and we still won.
I really do think I watch a different game sometimes...
