roberts was all over the place too.too deep and too wide. our poor wide players meant that had to really Roberts can't win though can he? If he just stays in the box, he's lazy. If he does anything else he's not doing his job. I think he's doing everything right at the moment, and he's been fantastic since his return from injury.

You can't argue with what Roberts brings to the team, he's the best finisher in the squad, the quickest of our forwards and is scoring goals for fun at the moment.
What Peacock brings to the team is akin to Trevor bloody Benjamin, although Bif Trev wasn't such a flashy cheating tart as Peacock. It's well documented I don't like him but purely football-wise I don't really mind if he goes in January if someone else comes in, as Lukas blatantly isn't there yet.

one bad game and you want rid and his days are numbered.
I bet you were saying the same thing about Roberts when he had his off patch
Peacock is a good player and adds alot to the team, he had a poor game saturday...so what? its only one game and we still won.
I really do think I watch a different game sometimes... in all fairness dv i have said he was poor all season,i agree with your last comment though as i fail to see what he brings to the team apart from freekicks on the halfway line

one bad game and you want rid and his days are numbered. It's not a question of "wanting" him to go, it's just speculation, we as fans are speculating what will happen in the future.

Holding the ball up? 1 in 3 (ish) strike Ratio this season? hard work? including doing the work of others good celebrations? (ok getting desperate here)

(ok getting desperate here) Winning headers? its ok winning them but it helps if they go to a team mateHolding the ball up? he holds it up then plays a 50 yard ball, back to the right back1 in 3 (ish) strike Ratio this season? cant argue with that, imagine how many he would have if got in the boxhard work? including doing the work of others good celebrations? (ok getting desperate , i agree he works hard but that is his downfall aswell, when we are losing a game i do not want to see him on the left wing struggling to get into the box. trevor benjamin works hard, wins headers holds it up but no one wanted to keep him did they

Fair enough!! Was talking from a personal point of view, perhaps not for the majority! you wouldnt mind if he left though would you I like Lee Peacock, love his work rate, would love him to be a great success. But as things have turned out, if it's a choice between Roberts and Peacock (which I think Sturrock will think it is) I think I'd have to go for Christian (as PS will do too). Roberts and A.N.Other up front from January. I hope that LP proves me wrong though, would love to eat some humble pie on this one! After all he is Scottish!

Its not his fault if Roberts or anyone else wont get anywhere near him or anticipate a flick on is it?
He would have more if he was in the box more often. A week or so ago he said that Wise TOLD him to play as a dropped off striker to try and link with the midfield. Sturrock has told him to get in the box. Its hardly his fault if he follow instructions is it?
Did you see Benjamin play? He didnt work hard, he didnt win headers he just ran into people doing a passable impression of a heavyweight boxer trying to be a footballer

I do think comparing Peacock to Benjamin is crazy talk though. Peacock does more in 5 minutes than Trev did in 90!
