I'd tend to agree with you all, he was shite at Millwall an think we need another big (ish) name to unite the fanbase once more.

The likes of Sturrock or Megson would be ideal in my view but I'm very doubtful they would be interested in drpping to L2 standard, regardless of the money.

Its fair enough to put Tuttle in as caretaker, as he has a little experience and there's a game on Sat......but not long term please Mr Diamandis.

The Board must be having a small celebration in Newbury tonight.....all the high earners off the wage bill....a bit of compo in the pocket....and no prospect of promotion bonuses at season's end.....Tuttle's a shoo in.

megson can fuck right off.

sturrock would be a good appointment, but won't happen.

tuttle will get the job whether we continue our form or not.

Please not megson. He was pants at WBA and at forest. Him and Paul Evans do not get on.

Of course he will, he'll be appointed as manager for the exact same reasons Iffy was and that's for cost cutting reasons.

Why get a half decent manager in for a bit of money when you can get a hopeless one in for next to nothing?

But they did show some ambition in the summer by trying to appoint cunt and cunt and up until today it has proved succesful.

I would love to see Sturrock here as he knows these leagues and knows how to get out of them. And lets be fair. Who is going to try to poach him.

won't we have some money to spend on a manager's wages as part of this compensation deal? Two are going out, plus we get what we would have paid them for the rest of the year.

Big Ron might fancy some of that!

In principle yes, but i can see the board tightening the purse strings now.

They wont appoint Tuttle unless he does really well.

He may be a dark lord of the sith but I dont believe Diamandis is stupid enough to go down the cheap option road again.  Fans wont like it and will vote with their feet.

It seems I am the only one who thinks we will appoint externally. I may well be denial though.

And what is so wrong with Megson? did a cracking job at WBA before his fallout with theri board.  Oops  just answered my own question there. i'll shut up now.
