Caretaker Manager Appointed

8.56pm, Monday 23rd October

Swindon Town FC have appointed Head of Youth / Scouting Director Dave Tuttle as Caretaker Manager with immediate effect.

David Tuttle

Tuttle takes over Caretaker Manager role at The County Ground

The 34-year old will be in charge of first team affairs as the club look towards this weekend's home encounter with Lincoln City.

Tuttle had a spell in charge of Coca-Cola Championship side Millwall during the 2005-6 campaign and joined the backroom staff at The County Ground in the summer.

More information will follow on Tuesday morning.

yup, he did a truely terrible job at milwall...

I want an expirenced manager in, who knows what he is doing and knows how to get out of this shite division.

I'd be underwhelmed and dissapointed if he stays as manager. But with our lack of cash it wouldn't be a total shock.

If he wins 5-6 on the bounce it will because its "Wises team" in everyone perception.He would be daft to take it permantly its a lose/lose situation for him.It needs another big name in my opinion..whether we get that or not remains to be seen.

Swindon Town reminds me of a soap I predict our entire first team will die in a coach crash beore the end of the season.

I was thinking along the same lines Yeovil, but I'm hoping that after Lee Peacock gets shot we all wake up to find it was just a dream and we have infact spent the last 12 years cementing our place in the highest league.
