And stop being so hard on poor Christopherson, he's trying his best and you critisizing him isn't going to help the matter.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh
start of this season just gone, my board wanted a decent finish in the league, i wanted to progress further than the semi-finals of the western conference division, but with a tiny squad and sod all money, it wasnt looking likely.
my star striker, carlos ruiz, then decided he wanted out... didnt play well at all, so started using my 2nd and 3rd choice strikers, who are dead young, and not that good... not many goals coming from them...
So after i sold Ruiz for £2.8m, i signed a few players, but couldnt get a striker for love nor money. most of my goals were coming from the middle of the park. my defence was solid, my 'keepers were poor, so still let in quite a few goals.
ended up finishing 3rd in the western division, even with 8 weeks of having no fit 'keeper, i thought that was quite good! beat Kansas in the semis, then lost to LA Galaxy on penalties. was proper gutted.
heading into the 2008 season now, getting a bit bored of MLS as i cant sign anyone i want, its pretty much always the 2nd or, more often, the 3rd choice. grrrrrrrrr

I want to have a cheat for a change so wanted to start off as Swindon but use the editor to give me shed loads of cash and transfer money.....leaving the rest as normal though.... I'm talking big bucks here.....in the billions if possible....but apparently there is alimit on how much you can edit it to?
Does anyone know what the limit is??? If you go over it, when you start the game it reduces the amount you put in editor back down to a few mill at most but I want a Richard Branson style account!!
PLEASE HELP....ASAP as I'm sitting waiting to start a game!

PLEASE HELP....ASAP as I'm sitting waiting to start a game! Use Artmoney SE 7.22 and adjust your balance to whatever you like it to be, if you have probs using it PM me and I will run you through how to use it and where to find it. I think the limit is around 1.5 billion.

Start off unemployed and see what job you're offered. I di that and ended up managing some tiny Portugese team for 2 seasons before climbing the ladder. Now 6 seasons in and I'm at Palermo struggling to stay in Serie A and with all my best players sold.
Or just go and start as Gretna and see if you can topple the Old Firm.

I had an ace start in my first season as Ipswich manager only spent 100k on David Edgar and Danny Collins, came 5th and made the playoff final but lost to Norwich 3-1. But weirdly the boards opinion was ''delighted that the club has gained promotion'' :? But in my 2nd season ive bought John Douglas from leeds, El Karkouri from charlton and some swedish right back and I cant get the home form together it all started with a loss to sheff wed 2nd game in. Weirdly though my away form is the opposite, maybe saying i think we should win at home isnt the best option?

I finally dusted this off and started a new game yesterday evening. Took over boss of Ross County in Scottish Division 1 in January 07. With 22 games gone County were 7 points adrift at the bottom of the table. That gave me 14 matches to turn things round, I wasn't all that confident. Goals seemed to be a problem having only scored 18.
First things first, sorted out some specific training schedules for each position and put some basic tactics down for the big match away to Livingston. We lost. 6-1. :?
Picked up two wins and a draw from the next 6 games, not particularly inspirational form, is it? The next match was always going to make or break it having looked at the fixtures. Away to Hamilton Academicals (the team directly above us) a draw would bring us level on points but with a hugely inferior goal difference. 2-0 up at half time, Hamilton got one back early on 2nd half but we hung on to get all 3 points.
I would love to know what I said in my team talks for the next game (home to Queen of The South), a 7-2 win. County's biggest win of the season, though not quite the best in the league QOTS had been beaten 7-0 two weeks earlier. Managed to go on a 7 game unbeaten stretch and finished 7th, 8 points from the relegation places.
Highlight was probably the 92nd minute goal from Craig Gunn which beat league champions St Johnstone 4-3 in the last home game of the season.
All in all, having a pretty good time of it so far. P14 W7 D2 L5 GS25 GC20
Got 160k for selling Don Cowie to Hull, so have a bit of cash to splash. I'm having trouble finding anybody that wants to come to Ross County though...I wonder why?
