I am making a real go at it now. I haven't smoked since saturday and managed a full Swindon match without one last night! Mind you, i did have 2 burgers to compensate. You will die of obesity within 2 years Ralphus ................. get back on the fags ! |

I do not wish to resurrect a debate on this, and I knoe all the moral and health issues should take predence over economic issues, just merely raising it as a point of interest. i doubt i'm completely alone in this, but once the ban comes in i'll have precisely zero reason to go to the pub. |

I understand what Sonic means, the thought of socialising, having a beer and a smoke makes the pub enjoyable.
If you can't smoke there, it won't be quite the same.
Non smokers won't understand.

i fucking hate coming home at night stinking like a wet ashtray. it makes me feel sick.
even when i did smoke i hated the smell of it in the mornings.
