All the negative effects of drinking are against the law.

Christ, I really don't know where to start with this one so I'll keep as simple as I can.  Have you never noticed how annoying drunk people are when you're sober?  Talking shit, being larey, falling all over the place, wanting to hug everyone that comes near them, telling the same story 15 fucking times :smile1:  That's the best comparison I can come up with to having smoke blown in your face, and I'd go for the smoke.  It's all subjective though innit so  Shrug

people who don't smoke or have never smoked who say that giving up is easy and you have to be weak minded to smoke in the first place haven't got a clue.

it'd be like me saying that brain surgery is a piece of piss

An occasional drinking mate has just had a heart attack, he's been told in order to avoid another terminal one, he should  quit smoking, drink less and eat fewer kebabs......the smoking he's found easy, can cut down on booze easily enough....but  having a bugger of a time with the kebabs.

I'm meaning the stuff that causes you harm as opposed to the stuff that causes you an inconvenience.

Smoking makes you smell a bit, but so does not using deodorantm and drinking makes you wiff as well - so yes, those are all the same.  but the stuff that cuases physical injury to others from drink is not allowed, well not as far as I know.

i found it fairly easy to quit and smoked 20 b+h a day for years.i cut down to just smoking when in the pub then cut it out completely.the only time i get the urge for a ciggy now is with a pint but that is fading all the time.
my dad on the other hand really struggled to quit and found it hard going.he managed it eventually.
if someone really wants to give up they can with will power, without it you have no chance.

also there will always be people that want to smoke and have no intention of quitting.as long as it doesn't get blown over me then let them carry on.

hope the above hasn't insulted you Wink

you gave up smoking so obviously you've smoked in the past, i was referring to the people who have never smoked - how can you comment on something you don't know anything about?

personally i could give up with ease, but i'm not a heavy smoker. it varies depending on loads of different things.

why don't you use the non-smoking seating areas, arriba?

i dont agree with alchahol arriba i would be grateful if you didnt have a drink before the game please on saturday...explain the difference pls

gladly.how does what i do or not drink affect anyone else,
unless i breathe all over them.smoking is a tottally different issue.

It will when you get in your car and drive home after, and run someone over and go down for 5 years or doesn't that count?

And as you admit you probably annoyed non-smokers for your 18 years of doing it, ergo, stop talking bollocks.

I'm assuming that you're therefore incredibly sympathetic to all the smack heads and alkies that you meet, and don't ever think "how the fuck did you let yourself get that way you pathetic fucker".

'Cause it's not anybodies fault that they're a drug addict is it? It's not like somebody could consciously choose to stop or anything is it?
