I have a sony walkman - the 20 GB one they released about 18 months ago, the version before the current one - and it's great! Battery life is fantastic and it's absolutely tiny (smaller than the new version).... I absolutely love it and prefer it to iPods as I don't really like the click wheel much (but perhaps that's down to lack of practice?)

cant really argue with that. can i say i couldnt give a bollocks who thinks what about what ipod zen gigabyte bonanza but ipods are proper bo.

sonic stage is good, better than itunes. the walkman's come with software called connect, which is awful and is still in beta.

The connect player is shite. Just installed sonic stage so my bro can use his sony again now. Sonic stage is remarkably easy to use and all of it is pretty self explanatory. Had all the options set up in minutes.
