From trying to promote the Orange Revolution stuff I sympathise with Mike.  I was aware that if I bombarded each forum with pleas to support the Orange rev. that people would soon get pissed off.

I admit that I had hoped that word would get round and someone would send a link from one forum to another.  Like Mike says we all (well most of us) do have day jobs and posting similar posts on each and every forum can be very time consuming.

Apologies if I have missed the point on this debate as I've only been able to skim through it.

glosrob, no problem with you, but this stinks quite frankly. I do not agree that i get bombarded with loads of junk email as a result of being subscribed to the official site. (quite the fucking opposite actually!! no surprise there though eh   )

The communciation on MOS is either a cheap attempt at bolstering already strong support or a half arsed attempt at communicating to the fans, or both.

It does nothing to make me feel any better about the whole thing. There are many outlets for STFC fans, forget the moronic view of few swindonians, and as such, all deserve the same information. At the same time.

I don't see a problem with Mike posting on MOS and the Trust site, there will always be people that will copy on to other forums.

If Mike posted on every single forum then I expect he would never have any time for the family (although they must be very understanding due to the amount of time he must dedicate to all things stfc)
