Went to fill up with fuel this morning and came back to my car to see a guy sat in it, adjusting the driver's seat, confused as to why his key wouldn't turn in the ignition.

His embarrassment was amusing, but the worst thing was I got in the car and tried to pull away quickly as a queue was forming but he'd for some reason left it in reverse so I nearly backed into the car behind.

Who does that?!?

Did you have the same make/colour car ?

Yep. I saw him getting in and rushed out thinking he was trying to nick it and he just looked confused and was massively apologetic and embarrassed.

I lock my car when I go to pay for fuel

I live in the country and the place was quiet when I arrived so I decided not to this time as I wanted to be in and out quickly. Probably should have locked it but with the amount of security at petrol stations surely only a muppet would try and nick from one.

Shall be locking it every single time in future.

Yep.

I once parked up my newish motor in Wells Street, went into town, came back and couldn't figure out why the key wouldn't open my car...then realised that the car behind was mine...both identical Hondas, only one number different on the registration plate.

Gotta retain cover somehow, scoring a goal in a game they're winning anyway seems a smart way of doing it.

I think City will probably stay up quite easily. Flint has been on the scoresheet quite a lot at both the right and the wrong end this season I noticed!

Waking up to three piles of cat vomit, including down the back of the sofa (which he's incidentally scratched holes in).

Just what is the point of cats?
