Thankfully the mighty Yellows don't have a Cat 1 academy so won't get the invite for the EFL Trophy....
There are more than enough aspects of decline to focus on as it is.

We’ve just moved into an old cottage. Fuck me, it’s freezing in here. Heating on and it’s nearly June.

The EFL and Sky moving league one and league two games from the weekend to a Thursday night when they have no other midweek games.

I can deal with that if it's limited to something like one home and one away fixture per club per season. That seems fair given the increased revenue and exposure, but any more than that and it becomes yet another example of disregard for the fans.

We also live in a cottage. The good thing is on those ridiculously hot days it keeps relatively cool. Make use of any open fires/stoves you have. Can't beat sitting in front of a crackling flame.

It’s June, ffs! Shouldn’t be huddled around a fire in June!
God knows what it’ll be like in the winter. Can’t replace the windows as it’s listed so will have to try secondary glazing. I’ve whacked me napper numerous times on the low bits in the house.
Still, the garden is nice!

It's been chilly this week right enough. This is the first time we've used either the fire or the woodburner in June though I think! Winter will be baltic, I imagine your insulation in the walls will be terrible so your heating will be on quite a bit! My advice is save up while you can during the summer months as the winter requires loads of fuel!

My Aunt used to live in the house on the corner (where the Devizes Road goes to the right & the lane onto the Calne Road goes to the left). The only thing I remember about it was getting stung by a bee in the garden 😂
