Well it's free, so nothing to lose?

I bet you just end up in the normal queue and save no time though!

Hearing Kennedy deal is off

Probably the thought of Father Ted picking the players put him off.

Fair enough, i am more cynical than most at the moment i realise that.  My view is, if you are trying to get a lge1/2 club, you pull together the best bits of actually doing it in the EFL rather than the U21/U23 league.  Mind you having read that we are supposed to be signing 5 players this week then this adds more creadence to it, signing a player that you already hold the registration for should be a lot easier than not.  Also having sat next to McGurk at the sponsors dinner, he was very much up for signing for us - maybe they have upped the contract offer from the traditionally STFC token offer to a genuine more acceptable offer.

Hope you had a good holiday Smiley

We've released a lot of dead wood so possibly are now in a position financially to give him a decent offer. that's positive that he seemed happy to stay. I wonder whether his lack of playing time towards the end of last season was to keep him in cotton wool to unleash him properly next season.

His Twitter post had the hourglass emoji next to it so hopefully we might find out either way this week.

So who are the managers out of work that we can 'fairly realistically' look at

Mark Kennedy - rumours suggest we tried and failed (I've no idea either way) and looks like a no go
Harry Watling - Never managed before but has good coaching credentials. Worked with Michael Beale at Rangers
Martin Paterson - left Burton after a pretty terrible season. Doubtful
Pete Wild - Done really well at Barrow and will be in high demand. Very doubtful
Gavin Gunning - definitely the best candidate in the eyes of our owners. Likely.

Watling was a Chelsea youth coach who overlapped with Morris and he managed Brewitt at Hartford in the US.

Two phone calls that will kill any interest he has in this job you'd think.

Or maybe he was waiting to find out the manager wouldn’t be Gav

Im hoping for Harry Watling, and of course, i say that knowing pretty much nothing about him apart from what ive read on wiki Kennedy seemed like a bad choice after reading Lincoln discourse.

I go on a cruise every year or so.  A suite is a must .

Nice if you can afford it, but we hardly spend anytime in the room so not bothered. A balcony is nice though.
