Ben how long are you going to carry on being King's apologist for?
I have to admire your tenacity in defending one of the worst managers we've ever had but life goes on.
He's gone - move on, get behind Iffy and his team, they are the new regime and I for one wish them the best of luck.

Apart from Gorman, McMahon, Quinn, Todd, etc. etc. who were all far worse and that's just the last 10 years.

KT McMahon's failings far out weigh his acheivements I am disgusted that you almost defended the scouse fucking shit head.  Please retract that statement before I speak to Pauld about taking legal action.

With a multi million pound team, most of whom had only two years previously played in the premiership and he also got us relegated. There is no question as to whether any of those managers were worse. They were all far worse. FACT!

Did you see that I cunningly used the word 'ONE'  in my description of him.
Still doesn't disguise the fact he was crap, one relatively good season out of five? Doesn't make him Arsene Wenger does it - And this tired old excuse of no money doesn't wash either - most of the clubs in the lower two divisions don't have any either......
If you want to go in to specific managers:-
Gorman - No manager would have kept us in the premiership that season not even Glen Hoddle if he'd stayed.
McMahon - At least we got promoted under him, alright it went down hill after, but he still got us promoted unlike a certain Mr King.
Quinn - Inherited a very poor squad and how long was he given to try and turn it around?
Todd - Lasted five minutes so how can you compare.

McMahon was worse than King.  I'm with BWB on this one.  Fucking hell lads, King may have come up short this season but he wasn't the anti-christ.

Yep but I was happier under King

If you like losing and being at the bottom of the league that your choice, to me its not acceptable....but if you like being a loser then so be it...

We were rarely at the bottom of the league under King and won more games than we lost, I doubt that will be the case from now on.

You cant relate what King did 2 years ago, to what he did two weeks ago. Different players and different backroom staff

No idea what you're talking about.

Ala we did well when Crosby was here, we've been shit since he hasnt?! read into that what you will.....

You may recall that summer we lost Crosby Mooney and Devlin all, three represented some kind of loss......King needs to judged against the circumstances he was asked to work under.....which are the set up of a decent Conference outfit...this realisation may be brought home by the game v Stevenage.

But so have most of the other teams in the lower divisions with a few exceptions - You can't gloss over his bizarre team selections, playing players out of position, alienating the fans etc by saying he didn't have any money.....

I know this is probably a wild suggestion and im not sure if anyone has previously stated this but personally i would like to see Chris Kamara the new manager at the club!

Big morale boost and will bring the fans in as well as sorting out the club!

Let me know your feelings!

Kamara was linked in the press to the post a while back but I doubt he'd give up the cushy number on Sky Sports he's got.

To be honest I'd rather give Iffy a go.
