I imagine a reference to the shocking results they get here - we paste them quite often.

I think there was a post previously on there yesterday that every year they were (ahem) "butt fucked" at the County Ground, many of their fans had never seen them win at Swindon, thats continued!

OK... I suppose I've never heard of a quantum lock before...is that a computer geek type term?

Agree, I'd take a point there, and a win next Saturday Smiley Sounds like positive news on Yate from Wellens' post-match, notwithstanding the scratching at the end of that segment too which Bamboo The Wellens-Whisperer may claim shows something different Wink

Quantum locking occurs when a superconductor becomes trapped within a magnetic field. when this happens the superconductor will be locked in space and will not move without outside force.

I took to it straight away as meaning "Let's make our arses so tight next time that we don't get torn a new one - again."

That's without knowing what a 'quantum lock' was. Mind you my line of work is looking for clues within the body language of our manager.

Before we scored both sides looked distinctly average without threatening. The game was over we we scored 2 in quick succession and I was delighted to see doughty bag a 3rd...contemplating getting a season ticket in the DRS!!

10 minutes before we scored we stepped it up a gear and then they couldnít live with us.

That was a very good performance today. We took 20 mins or so to get into the game, but Vale didnít really threaten in that period, then we gradually go on top as Grant took charge of midfield, and had several chances before the first goal. Whilst the goal itself was fortunate, we had been building pressure on their area and that can create errors. The second goal was a thing of beauty - particularly Doughtyís pass and Huntís cross. Second half we controlled the game, kept them at armís length one shot in that period) got a third goal and could have had a couple more.
Good performances through the team, Grant deservedly MOM, DJ unplayable at times, Woolery did well up front, in addition to his goal, Hopeís defensive covering and work rate were good. Edmonds-Green looks a good signing - comfortable on the ball and also quite mobile.
Two points from the next two would be fine, plus hopefully a couple more signings this week, and with Lyden back from his ban and some of the injured getting closer to fitness we will need 8 or 9 wins from the last 15 games for top 3.

Many thanks - That was a very interesting interview with Power, which is what I wanted to hear. Don't think that there was any subterfuge there. Interesting that he talked about 3 more players, while Wellens talked about 3-4 more.
