Walk in the park.  Keeper made several saves for them, hit the woodwork twice.  Once we got into the game in the first half there was only ever one winner.  That's a team seeking the play offs as well.

Grant ran the show in the middle, DJ was a handful, everyone else in control of the game for us.  REG looks a really good player.

Get a centre forward and a couple more players back and we look set for the run in.  Any on top of that and it will be a bonus.

2 points clear at the top, although Exeter in 2nd have a game in hand over us.
7 points clear from Crewe in 4th, although they have a game in hand over us.
12 points clear from Cheltenham in 8th, although they have 2 games in hand over us.

Macc level up v FVR 1 - 1
Scunny after losing the lead level back up with Crewe 2 - 2
Mansfield now 3 - 0 v Bradford

If I were Doyle, I'd be on my phone to my agent at FT requesting a move to STFC. Otherwise his seasons stock is dropping. Don't wanna be the one who looks back and says "What if?"

Doyle at Bradford City:
7 appearances, 0 goals.

Doyle at Swindon:
23 appearances, 23 goals.

I thought he was definitely going to those big boys Bradford or oxford?

Does seem odd to bring him on so late to scupper a sale or loan at a higher level??

Given that we are now 10 points ahead of Bradford on the same number of games played and that the whole crux of Bradford's shithousery in recalling Doyle was not wanting to loan/sell him to a rival...the question has to be, how much longer can/should they consider us to be rivals?

Surely they would be better served in letting Doyle - a striker who has not scored for them since going back - go, get him off the wage bill, get some money which they won't get in the summer and try to get a player in who might be better suited to their shit style of play. If they don't it's just pure bloody mindedness and they're shooting themselves in the foot.

Fuck ‘em, I say. Bowyer is under severe pressure from the fans now. If they are going to appoint a new man they may think he can get Doyle scoring.
